Tonga, officially known as the Kingdom of Tonga, is a Polynesian sovereign state located in the South Pacific Ocean. Consisting of 169 islands, it is the only monarchy in the Pacific and one of the few remaining absolute monarchies in the world. The capital city is Nuku'alofa.
