Costa Rica, officially known as the Republic of Costa Rica, is a country located in Central America. It is bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the southeast, the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Caribbean Sea to the east.
Covering an area of approximately 51,100 square kilometers, Costa Rica is home to a population of over 5 million people. The capital and largest city is San José.
